Unparked · Car-Free City Breaks is an independent travel-planning business being built in Bordeaux, France, for English-speaking travelers. Our starting point is simple: leave the car, take the city.

We’re developing digital guides and personal planning services for neighborhood walks, food and markets, vineyards, and day trips by public transport. Our target launch is late November or early December 2026.

AI can help with research and first drafts. It cannot walk a route. Before a recommendation is described as physically verified, the Bordeaux-based founder must check it in person and record the date. Current guides and routes are still in development.

Our publishing standard is “Every route walked. Every tip dated. No car required.” We will distinguish research from completed checks and flag details that still need confirmation. Transport schedules, access conditions, and opening hours can change after a visit.

We sell travel information and planning advice, not bookings. You book flights, accommodation, transport, and tours independently. Any future affiliate links will be disclosed where they appear.
